1. What should I expect during my first session?

     The first session is really a 'Get to Know You' session. I will ask various questions to get a good understanding of your needs and collaboratively we will begin developing a treatment plan to address your needs.  

2. Do I need therapy?

 

        Therapy can help in many different areas. You don't have to suffer from severe mental illness to reach out to a therapist. If you are struggling with how to manage your stress in a healthy manner, looking to overcome anxiety or if you need to heal from a past trauma, I can help! Your responsibility during therapy is to practice the skills learned during the session and to be open about what you are truly struggling with at any given time. It's ok, not to be ok and you are not alone. Reach out today!

     

3. How will I pay for my sessions?

     I use a secure payment platform that allows me to accept Pay Pal, HSA, FSA and major credit cards. I can also create a Superbill (a document you can send to your insurance company and they may reimburse you for a portion of your session fee.) I cannot guarantee that the insurance company will reimburse you, so make sure you contact them before the sessions begin.
